The Sphinx

We are very pleased (and fortunate) to announce that Juan Carlos Medina Gedler has joined ManAboutWorld as our newest Global Correspondent.

Juan Carlos Medina Gedler is a tireless curious world travel/documentary photographer. His main passion lies in capturing human ingenuity and architecture in different cultures and human expression in unique situations. His range of subjects are fairly broad, but whether he is photographing people walking into a souk in Africa or life in the last traditional village of South America or people working in a remote Caribbean island, JC’s common aim is always the same – to capture the human element in that Image taking your breath away.

He has had the opportunity to be published with his first photography coffee table book in 2010 dedicated to his father “Un día papá me dijo que soñara …” a compilation of his journey around Europe, Middle East and South America.

Juan is an avid outdoor enthusiasts; he was a paraglider pilot, now he enjoys more the feet on the ground adventures, like running, hiking, surfing, paddle boarding, wake boarding, kayaking, biking, especially when they can be combined with any traveling destination. When he is not traveling he spend as much time as possible in his hometown Miami, Florida, with his dogs and partner.

He launched N2S Travel as an exclusive travel source for the LGBT community with a unique source of non traditional tailored excursions for travelers, who are looking for an exceptional and unique travel experience from an experienced traveler.
